The terminal of the device is connected with power source and control line in series, so that the control line can be cut off when overload or phase break occurs as protection, but it is not used to control motor starting.
The comprehensive motor protector protects the motor in an all-round way. It protects the motor when it appears overcurrent, undercurrent, phase break, blocking, short circuit, overvoltage, undervoltage, leakage, and three-phase unbalanced state. Start-up delay, digital ammeter and voltmeter functions can display three-phase running current of A, B and C, realize multiple parameter setting functions, fault memory alarm inquiry and action value protection. Hold function, call self-starting and automatic reset function.
The motor is damaged by overload, phase absence, interlayer short circuit and interline short circuit, ground leakage of coil, inflow of instantaneous overvoltage due to electrical reasons, or by mechanical reasons, such as blockage of rotation, when the motor rotator encounters solids, the motor is damaged due to wear of bearings or lack of heat conduction due to lack of lubricant. Because of abnormal operation or stop or damage, the loss of manpower in production or stop time can not be compared with the cost of replacing the motor itself. The loss is huge, so we need to protect the motor effectively in order to ensure the normal operation of production.
For electrical fault, whether overcurrent or overvoltage, the main reason is that the current increases instantaneously, which exceeds the load current value of the motor and causes damage. According to this principle, the comprehensive motor protector protects the motor by monitoring the current value change of the two-phase (three-phase) line of the motor, and for the over-voltage and low-voltage, it protects the motor by detecting the voltage change between the motor phases.
